The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has decided to further extend the ban on Perpetual Treasuries Limited, owned by Arjun Aloysius, who is accused of being involved in the Central Bank Bond Fraud.
In accordance with the provisions of the Registered Shares and Securities Ordinance and the Domestic Treasury Bills Ordinance, it has been decided to extend the suspension of Perpetual Treasuries Limited (PTL) from carrying on business and activities.
Accordingly, the ban will be in effect for another 6 months from 05 January 2025.
