The “Let’s Win the Truth” public meeting organized with the Kurunegala district as the centerpiece Addressing the conference, MP Dayasiri Jayasekara said that he feels lonely due to the imprisonment of Sugeeshwara Bandara.
He further said that his journey cannot be reversed in the face of political revenge and that he will work to form a new government through a common platform by uniting all forces.
Expressing further views, he said:
“Today I feel very lonely. Because Mr. Sugeeshwara Bandara is not here. He is in prison today. This is the first revenge. Such revenge can come in the future. We will not turn back in fear of it. The program of this joint opposition is that all of you come together and take this throughout Sri Lanka and create a platform where everyone can come together and form our government.
Instead of the process of gaining power individually, we should push this to a place where we all work together in general…”
