Daisy Forrest, the grandmother of Yoshitha Rajapaksa, who was charged under the Money Laundering Prevention Act, was released from the case today by the Colombo High Court.
The court made this decision after considering a special psychiatric report obtained through the Colombo Judicial Medical Officer to find out whether the accused was mentally fit to face a court trial.
After considering the facts presented, the judge ordered that Daisy Forrest be released from all charges filed against her.
