The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has decided to file a case against Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody, the Sunday Times reports.
The case is reportedly set to be settled following a corruption complaint received by him regarding the misappropriation of funds by the Fertilizer Corporation during his service in 2015. The case is set to be filed before the High Court against the minister and two others on charges of misappropriation of Rs. 8 million.
