Bangladesh withdraws from T20 World Cup .

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially informed the Bangladesh Cricket Board today (21) that it will not allow the T20 World Cup to be played in any country other than India.

Accordingly, the ICC has reportedly decided to replace the Bangladesh team if they do not travel to India.

The Bangladesh government has also been informed in this regard.

The decision was taken at a crucial meeting today with the participation of ICC full member directors to discuss Bangladesh’s refusal to travel to India.

A vote was held after the meeting, in which a majority of the members voted in favor of appointing a replacement.

However, it is reported that the ICC has given the Bangladesh Cricket Board one more day to inform them of its final position on playing in India.
