Manusha Nanayakkara, Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment, yesterday (15) gave Air tickets to 14 people who qualified for domestic nursing service in Israel. The group is scheduled to leave for Israel on March 19.
14 people of the 111th group who were trained with the intervention of the Foreign Employment Bureau under the system of sending trained workers abroad belong to this group. According to the report, the number of job seekers who will leave for nursing in Israel this year is 326, and several more groups will leave for Israel in the future.
After Minister Manusha Nanayakkara took office, the remittances of foreign workers increased rapidly and in 22 months, foreign workers sent remittances exceeding 9 billion rupees.
