The car in which Member of Parliament Ali Sabri Rahim was traveling met with an accident near the 15th mile post on the Puttalam-Anuradhapura road.
According to Saliya Lake Police, one person was injured in the accident.
The MP was traveling from Puttalam to Anuradhapura and the accident occurred when the MP’s car collided with the back of an tractor which was running towards the same road.
The police said that the person who was driving the tractor was injured in the accident.
