President Ranil Wickramasinghe said today that he is unable to participate in the live political debate between political party leaders organized by Daily Mirror and Lankadeepa newspapers. He said this when he made the invitation for the debate.
“I engage in debates in Parliament. “If anyone wants to debate with me, they can do so with me in the parliament,” the president said.
Although President Ranil Wickremesinghe liked that invitation, National People’s Power leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake has accepted the debate. But Sajith Premadasa, leader of Samagi Jana Balavega, has not yet responded
