The Hindu newspaper has reported that Adani is continuing discussions on renewable energy projects in Sri Lanka.
The newspaper says that the relevant discussions are being held to reach a mutual agreement on the fees for the projects. Adani had recently given a written notice that it would withdraw from the renewable wind farm project in Poonaring, Mannar due to a fee issue.
However, the Indian media points out that no steps have been taken to completely stop the relevant project.
The Hindu newspaper has further indicated in its report that the work on this project will resume by June after reaching a mutual agreement on the fees.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan government also recently stated that it is holding further discussions with Adani regarding the relevant project.
