Sports Minister Harin Fernando states that he believes that a new team consisting of young players under the age of twenty-five should be formed for the Twenty20 cricket team.
However, Sports Minister Harin Fernando says that although Sri Lanka lost in the World Cup Cricket preliminary round match against Bangladesh, the Sri Lankan team fought till the last over.
He claims that he played a good match for a very low number of runs and if he had taken the wicket in the last over, he would have won the match.
He said this while commenting to the media after the Sri Lankan team lost in the second match of the preliminary round.
