The police media division claims that Sara Jesmin alias Pulastini Mahendran, the wife of the self killing bomber named Hastoon, who carried out the suicide attack on the Katuwapitiya church in Negombo, has died.
The Police Media Unit issued a statement saying that Sarah Jesmin was among the four killed in a suicide bomb attack in Saindamarudu area during an operation to find the suspects of esthar arrack. The explosion took place on April 26, 2019.
It was mentioned earlier that Sarah Jasmine alias Pulastini Mahendran fled to India after the bomb blast. A police officer named Abu Bakar was detained for a long time on suspicion of helping her. A few days ago, the court granted him bail.
