The multi-day fishing vessel that was seized by the Navy yesterday arrived at the Dikovita Fisheries Harbor this morning and the market value of the drug stock found there is Rs. 2 billion, says Deputy Minister of Defense Aruna Jayasekara.
More than 21 kilograms of heroin and 172 kilograms of ‘ice’ drugs were found there.
The vessel, which set out from the Gandhara area on the 9th with five fishermen, was taken into custody by the Navy yesterday (23) while transporting drugs.
