14 Pakistanis killed in bomb attack against anti-violence protesters

At least 14 people have been killed and 22 injured in a suicide bombing targeting a police station in Pakistan’s Swat Valley. The dead were among a group of people protesting against the rise in violence.

Police officers tried to check the suicide bomber near the entrance to the police station. He reportedly detonated the bomb strapped to his body.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched further investigations. The injured have been admitted to hospital, several of them in critical condition.
