Political sources say that a group of party seniors are preparing to rejoin former President Chandrika Kumaratunga to the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and give it the highest responsibility.
It is reported that ministers Mahinda Amaraweera, Lasantha Alagiyawanna and Duminda Dissanayake are taking the lead in this regard. But it is said that Srilanka President Maithripala Sirisena is not agreeing to it.
