296 killed in Morocco earthquake

Yesterday night (08) a strong earthquake of magnitude 6.8 occurred in Morocco. Foreign media also reported that 296 people lost their lives and 153 people were injured due to the earthquake.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 18.5 kilometers in the High Atlas Mountains, 71 kilometers southwest of Marrakesh, Morocco, the US Geological Survey said.
