The Court of Appeal has ordered to postpone further consideration of the writ petition filed by former State Intelligence Chief Suresh Saleh, challenging his arrest and detention under the Prevention of Terrorism Act in connection with the investigations into the Easter Sunday terror attacks, until the 21st.
The order was issued when the petition was considered today before a bench of the Court of Appeal comprising the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Rohantha Abeysuriya and Justice Priyantha Fernando.
President’s Counsel Sanjeewa Jayawardena presented arguments on behalf of petitioner Suresh Saleh.
