A horrific road accident has been reported near the Suriyawewa entrance of the Southern Expressway
The police stated that the accident occurred when the tipper truck hit the safety fence on the expressway and then a concrete mixer truck coming from behind hit the back of the tipper truck.
The police have initiated further investigations into the incident. Three people have been injured in the accident and have been admitted to the Embilipitiya Base Hospital.
