Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Ananda Wijepala expressed his confidence that the investigations into the Easter attacks will be successfully completed within a short period of time.

He stated that the Police and the Criminal Investigation Department will work together to continue to conduct the investigations properly.
He added that investigations not only into the Easter attacks but also into all illegal activities, bribery, corruption, fraud and financial misappropriation that occurred in the country will be conducted with full transparency and in a manner that protects the public’s trust.
