The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation says that the QR code system, which has been suspended for petrol vehicles, will be re-implemented from midnight tomorrow (18).
Accordingly, the previous fuel quota for petrol vehicles will be reactivated, said Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Chairman D.J. Rajakaruna.
Due to the festive season, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation had taken steps not to consider the QR system when distributing fuel to petrol vehicles from midnight on the 11th until tomorrow (18).
