Foreign media reported that Iran’s deputy foreign minister said that his country is not ready to accept a temporary ceasefire that does not completely end the hostilities in the entire region.
If Iran agrees to a ceasefire, it should cover all the conflict zones from Lebanon to the Red Sea, the media further reported that Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh told reporters.
Speaking about the Strait of Hormuz during the meeting, he said that the sea route has been historically open and has long been easily accessible, even though it is located in Iranian territorial waters.
He had accused the United States and Israel of creating regional instability.
