Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody has requested that electricity be used sparingly. Accordingly, the Minister requests the public to use electricity sparingly between 6.00 pm and 10.00 pm.
He made this statement while participating in the Gampaha District Development Committee meeting.
He said that no decision has been taken yet to carry out a power cut and that oil will be available for all types of consumption until May.
