An Air Canada passenger plane has crashed into a truck at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. The accident occurred when the plane collided with a truck carrying a fire extinguisher on the runway while attempting to land.
Several people were injured in the accident and the aircraft was damaged.
Airport operations have also been temporarily suspended and the relevant authorities have begun an investigation into the cause of the accident, foreign media reports.
