The Colombo High Court today ordered that the case filed by the Bribery Commission against former Fisheries Minister Rajitha Senaratne and three others be taken up on January 29.
The former minister is accused of causing a loss to the government in the leasing of the Modara Fisheries Harbour to a private company in 2014.
When the case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Mohamed Mihal today (11), the Bribery Commission sought permission from the court to amend the charges against the accused and accordingly, the court granted permission to amend 13 charges against the accused.
