The BBC has forecast heavy rains in several parts of Sri Lanka, including Colombo, in the next few days.
It says that a cloud over the Bay of Bengal is likely to develop into a storm this week.
The report says that the storm will move gradually westwards and will cause heavy rains across some parts of Sri Lanka in the final stages of Monday and until Tuesday. It says that the rainy weather conditions are moving towards Sri Lanka.
