The Kandy-Colombo road has been closed again from the Lower Kadugannawa area.
Kegalle District Secretary J.M. Herath said that steps were taken to close the road from this afternoon on the basis of a notification made by the National Building Research Organization.
The road was temporarily closed on several occasions due to a recent landslide and steps were taken to reopen it for traffic from yesterday afternoon.
