A shooting has been carried out on the Jumma Masjid Road in Maligawatta. The shooting was carried out targeting a youth who was staying at a business premises.
The youth who was injured in the shooting has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment. Police say that two persons who came on a motorcycle used a T56 firearm. Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
