Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne, who has been issued a notice, has still not been found. Accordingly, officers of the Bribery Commission visited his house in Malabe today and pasted the notice on the gate.
The Bribery Commission issued a notice to him after considering the submissions made by him through a motion in connection with the case regarding the illegal implementation of a sand removal project at the Kirinda Fisheries Harbour, which caused a loss of Rs. 2.62 billion to the government.
The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court yesterday (20) issued a notice to former Minister Rajitha Senaratne, who has been issued a warrant for his arrest, to appear before the court on August 29.
