The daughter of a specialist neurosurgeon at the Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital has said that she is ready to apologize unconditionally to the officials for making death threats to the Bribery Commission officials.
She made this statement while presenting her case before Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali Jayatunga today (05).
Hemali Wijeratne requested the court to allow her to settle the investigation against her and plan her future.
President’s Counsel Upul Kumarapperuma presented these facts to the court on behalf of the suspect Hemali Wijeratne, who is on bail for making death threats to the Bribery Commission officials.
