Suzuki WagonR detects a manufacturing defect. Vehicles are being recalled.

Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan has announced a safety recall related to the fuel system of Suzuki WagonR vehicle models manufactured in Japan.

Accordingly, Associated Motorways (Private) Limited (AMW), the sole authorized agent for Suzuki vehicles in Sri Lanka, has announced that it is taking proactive measures to ensure the safety of Suzuki WagonR owners.

This safety recall is a measure taken to correct defects related to the vehicle’s fuel system. The recall will specifically address issues such as incorrect fuel readings, vehicle inactivation due to lack of proper fuel level warnings, etc.

The affected models include Suzuki WagonR Premium, Suzuki WagonR FX/FZ, Suzuki Spacia and Suzuki Stingray.

The safety recall affects around 32,500 Suzuki WagonR vehicles in Sri Lanka, of which around 3,800 vehicles have already been recalled.

Owners of affected vehicles are advised to check whether their vehicle is part of the recall by visiting https://suzuki.lk/wagonrrecall/index.html on computers or mobile phones and entering their chassis number
