The police sergeant who was receiving treatment in the hospital has lost his life after being shot while going to arrest a suspect in the Batepola area of the Malvatuhiripitiya police domain.
It is reported that the concerned police sergeant died yesterday (11) night while receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.
