Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage ordered today (04) to recall the case filed against Bodu Bala Sena Secretary General Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thero for submitting wrong and false statements to the media that insult the Quran and Islam.
Reverend Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thero had made the relevant statement at a news conference held by the Bodu Bala Sena organization at a Colombo hotel in 2014. It is reported that Reverend Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thero, who has been released on bail, appeared in court today when the case was called.
