The agreement to end the war in the Middle East will be signed on Friday.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister said that the peace agreement to end the Iran-US war in the Middle East region will be signed next Friday, June 19, in Geneva, Switzerland. He has called the agreement the Islamabad Agreement.

The war began on February 28, 2026, when the US and Israel attacked Iran. The peace agreement is scheduled to be signed 111 days after the war began.

President Trump has also said that the agreement will be signed on Friday, and he says that with it the Strait of Hormuz will be immediately opened for the removal of naval mines.

Iran, the United States, and Israel have been embroiled in a recent war since the United States launched a drone attack on Iran on February 28 of this year. The attacks killed a large number of people, including Iran’s spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and caused massive destruction in Iran.

The funeral for the Iranian Supreme Leader, who died that day, will begin on July 4, with the burial taking place on July 9.
