Shell company to sell fuel from today

The first fuel ship belonging to Shell-RM Parks, which is newly added to the Sri Lankan fuel market, arrived at the port of Colombo yesterday (21) in the morning.

Accordingly, the company is going to start selling its fuel through 150 filling stations from today (22).

Under the government’s energy and economic reform program, the monopoly of the petroleum corporation to import and store this fuel was abolished and other parties were also allowed to do so. Accordingly, the companies IOC and Sinopec are currently participating in the Sri Lankan fuel market.
