One-third of Sri Lanka’s children under the age of five are malnourished.

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The latest report released by the Central Bank states that the height and weight of these children have not grown properly.

The report also states that the issue of malnutrition in the country has persisted for a long time due to disparities in malnourishment. Furthermore, the report indicates that 29% of children under the age of five in the estate sector are underweight.
