Labor and Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara said that if Ranil Wickramasinghe had not become the president of this country, the parliament would have been set on fire, the dollar would have gone up by more than a thousand rupees, and the country would have become a country where money is carried in a wheel barrow to buy a loaf of bread.

He mentioned that even though our country has enough politicians, what is needed today is a visionary diplomat and the only diplomat in the country today is President Ranil Wickramasinghe. He also mentioned that because he took over the country, he created a country that can breathe.
The Minister said that the era of bankruptcy and hardship in which the people of the country lived has ended, and that the price of goods will be reduced after March and the electricity bill will be reduced from February.
He further to said that when the system change demanded by the people is taking place, the JVP, UNP and Sri Lanka Freedom Party should all come together without being divided, and the platform for that has been built through “United National People”. The minister also said that the process of appointment will continue.
He said that at the end of this month, the wages of plantation workers will be raised, and that the President went abroad after giving him the order for that.
Mr. Manusha Nanayakkara, who further commented, said that in the same way as the job opportunities were opened in the agricultural sector and the construction sector in Israel, in the future, work will be done to open the job opportunities in the Korean agricultural sector.
