It is reported that the Minister of Power and Energy, Kanchana Wijesekera, has informed the electricity trade union representatives regarding the restructuring program of the Lanka Electricity Board.
Representatives of 31 trade unions related to the power sector have participated in this discussion and they have also presented proposals for the restructuring process.
The minister has mentioned here that he is ready to pay attention to those proposals in future activities related to preparing the reform structure.
