It is reported that 14 companies, including four Sri Lankan companies, have come forward their ambitions for the purchase of Litro Gas Lanka and Litro Gas Terminal.
Laugh Gas Company is among the Sri Lankan companies that have come forward in this way. In addition, it is reported that Infinity NGC, , China National Aero Techno, Consulting Engineers & Contractors are also Sri Lankan companies.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the call for ambitions for the sale of Litro Gas Company and Litro Gas Terminal Company began on January 16, 2024 and ended at 2 pm yesterday (March 15).
The proposals received are to be considered by a special committee appointed by the Cabinet.
Apart from the four Sri Lankan companies, Epdesa Pte Ltd, Singapore, Bharat Petroleum Coop, India, Ayaz Anonim Sirketi, Turkey, SiamGas and Petrochemicals Public Company Limited, Thailand, BGN Int DMCC, United Arab Emirates, Confidence Petroleum India Limited, India, OQ Trading Limited, United Arab Emirates, Tristar Group, United Arab Emirates, United Petroleum Holdings, Malaysia, Vitol Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore are reported to have presented their ambitions.
