Janata Vimukti Peramuna General Secretary Tilvin Silva says that although the National People’s Power can bring about the desired social transformation and revive the bankrupt economy, it is not enough to establish a government with a simple majority in the Parliament.
Addressing the National People’s Power Puttalam District Women’s Conference, he said that a powerful government is expected for that.
He said that N.P.P. has already won the next election and said that it will not be possible to make the desired social change with a general government of one hundred and thirteen.
