Yoshitha’s case to be recalled on the 28th

The Colombo High Court has ordered the re-call of the case filed by the Attorney General against former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son Yoshitha Rajapaksa and his grandmother Daisy Forrest under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act on the 28th of this month.

The Attorney General has filed this case against Yoshitha Rajapaksa and his grandmother Daisy Forrest, alleging that they committed an offence under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act by illegally acquiring assets and properties worth nearly Rs. 73 million.
