The National Alliance for the Protection of Litro announces that all employees of the company are against the restructuring of Litro. The organization has mentioned this in a letter to President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
They have indicated in that letter that Litro has credited the state treasury with 50 billion rupees or 5,000 crores as profits and taxes between 2015 and 2020.
The organization further says that it is not clear what is the purpose of restructuring such a company, which provides a lot of money to the exchequer.
