Foreign media reports that the cricket ban imposed on Sri Lanka by the International Cricket Council will be completely lifted in the coming week. The new sports minister Harin Fernando is already negotiating with the International Cricket Council to lift the ban.
It is also reported that the new sports minister has invited the International Cricket Council’s Executive Council to hold the event in Sri Lanka as expected. Cricket sources state that the talks with the council have received positive responses.
