Under a National People’s Force government, politicians have to travel by bus and train.

Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the leader of the People’s power, says that the National People’s Force is expected to make many changes in the politics of Sri Lanka in the future. Accordingly, he said, the National People’s Power will create a new political culture where politicians travel by public transport services such as buses and trains.

Addressing the Kegalle District Conference of the Retired Armed Forces Association, he said that the Janata Vimukti Peramuna MPs never used police officers for their personal security.

“You may have seen politicians in other countries working together with people on buses, trains, bicycles and public transport. Do we need such a political culture here? We will create that political culture and transformation. We assure you that.” he said

He mentioned that they have the confidence to take over the bankrupt country and have the courage to revive the economy.

He emphasized that his party has a work order to get the support of Sri Lankans abroad and the people of Sri Lanka to make Sri Lanka a developed country.
