The Colombo District Court has issued an injunction preventing the appointment of Minister Vijayadasa Rajapaksa as the Acting Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
It is also stated that another injunction has been issued preventing Dushmantha Mitrapala from acting as the general secretary of the party.
Also, the court has issued another injunction preventing the implementation of decisions taken by the Acting Chief Secretary. These injunctions will remain in force until May 08.
The Colombo District Court has announced this decision after considering a complaint submitted by Ministers Mahinda Amaraweera, Lasanta Alagiyawanna and Member of Parliament Duminda Dissanayake.
