The Fort Magistrate’s Court today (24) took steps to issue a warrant for Jaffna District Parliamentarian Archuna Ramanathan for failing to appear in a case related to an incident of obstructing the duty of police officers.
The Magistrate has taken steps to issue the warrant as the MP and his sureties failed to appear in court when the case was taken up for hearing.
