The Kremlin announced in a statement that Ukraine foiled an attempt to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin using drones. The announcement further states that the Russian security forces managed to shoot down two attack drones that came close to the presidential palace.
No one was hurt by the debris that fell near the Presidential Palace and President Putin was not there at the time of the attack. The Kremlin said in a press release that Russia has the absolute right to retaliate against this attack.
