Middeniya Police reports that two male bodies suspected of being shot have been found in the Thorakolayaya Teak Reserve in the Middeniya Police Division.
The two deceased are between the ages of 30 and 35, police say.
It is believed that two gunmen who arrived on a motorcycle last night (June 24) carried out the shooting and fled. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
