The schedule for the next phase of the ICC Test World Cup, the 2025-2027 series, has been announced. Accordingly, it is reported that the Sri Lankan team has not been scheduled to play any series against Australia or England.
The next Test World Cup is scheduled to be held in 27 series with 71 matches.
The two teams leading the points table at the end of those series will qualify for the final. Each team will have to participate in 6 Test series.
Accordingly, the Sri Lankan team is also scheduled to face 12 Test matches for the next Test World Cup and they are scheduled to play against Bangladesh, India, South Africa, West Indies, Pakistan and New Zealand.
According to the schedule, the Sri Lankan team has not been organized with Australia and England. The first match of the 2025-2027 Test World Cup is scheduled to be held in Galle on the 17th between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
