Tilvin Silva, General Secretary of the JVP, has expressed his views on the propaganda that there may be a change in the current Prime Minister’s position in the National People’s Power government.
He said that there is no intention to remove the Prime Minister from her post or from her ministerial position.
Tilvin Silva stated that there is no basis for a change in the Prime Minister’s position or the Education Minister’s position and that she has not committed any wrongdoing while serving in those positions.
He stated that a formal investigation will be conducted into the situation that has arisen regarding education reforms and that the investigation will reveal where the wrongdoing has occurred.
