The death toll from the accident in which a van overturned in the Karambakatiya area of Meemure has risen to three. Two women and a man have died.
It is also reported that a 5-year-old child and two others have been admitted to the Teldeniya Hospital following the accident.
The deceased are residents of the Meemure area and they were travelling to the Meemure area when they encountered this accident.
