Ahangama Police say that three people have died after being buried under a landslide in the Tittagalla area of Ahangama.
The landslide collapsed on three people who were working at a construction site yesterday afternoon and the people around them were immediately hospitalized. However, the three died after being hospitalized due to serious injuries in the accident.
The police say that the deceased are two residents of the Moraketiya area of Padiyathalawa and a resident of the Weragampita area of Matara. The bodies have been deposited at the Ahangama Rural Hospital. The Ahangama Police are conducting further investigations.
